Andrew Tieu

Andrew Tieu is the Founder and Senior Pastor of City Revival Church, located in downtown Toronto, Canada. God has blessed him and his wife with six wonderful children. His desire is to bring the good news of Jesus Christ into people’s lives. He believes that only Jesus can save, bring salvation to all humanity, and break the chains holding people back from reaching their full potential in life.

 

Andrew believes that grace is a free gift that can never be earned and that we find happiness, joy, and freedom when we come into God’s presence without fear, condemnation, or unworthiness.

 

Andrew and his family immigrated to Canada as refugees in 1986 and currently live in Toronto, Ontario. The loss of his sister to cancer at the age of 35 was a life-shattering event for him.

 

His mother, a faithful Christian for over 25 years, prayed ceaselessly and, after thousands of attempts, finally convinced Andrew to accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. She has dedicated the past 20 years of her life to the Prison Ministry in Ontario, Canada, bringing the message of Jesus Christ to those in local jails each week.

 

In 2008, Andrew experienced a supernatural reborn, transforming him into a new person and empowering him through the Holy Spirit. His sister’s passing and her departure to be with the Lord led him to experience the hope, peace, and comfort of God that surpasses all understanding.

 

The Holy Spirit helped Andrew break through many bondages. Freely, he received God’s miraculous blessings, and now he freely gives back by planting and leading City Revival Church. He and his wife serve without taking any salary from the church, and all their community work is voluntary. Andrew actively shares the good news of Jesus Christ with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds. Growing in Christ daily through fasting and prayer, Jesus has clearly revealed His calling for Andrew. Together with his wife, Tracy, and the members of City Revival Church, they are committed to helping people discover transformation through the abundance of grace, the gift of righteousness, and the power of the Holy Spirit.
