Andrew-TieuAbout Andrew Tieu

Andrew Tieu is the Founder and Senior Pastor of City Revival Church which is located in downtown Toronto, Canada. God has blessed him and his wife with 5 wonderful children. His desire is to bring the good news about Jesus Christ into people lives. He believes that only Jesus can save, brings salvation to all mankind, and breaks chains that have been holding people back from reaching to their full potential in life. Andrew believes that Grace is a free gift that can never be earned and that we are happy, joyful and free when coming to the presence of God without feeling fear, condemnation and unworthiness.

Andrew and his family immigrated to Canada in 1986 and live in the city of Toronto. After his sister passed away because of cancer at the age of 35, this tragedy shattered his life. Andrew’s mom, a faithful Christian for over 25 years with unceasing prayers, she finally convinced him to accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour. Andrew’s Mom has voluntarily dedicated her time for the past 20 years to the Prison Ministry every week, bringing the good news of Jesus Christ to those in Toronto jails.

In 2008, Andrew was born again, experienced the life transformation, and empowered by the Holy Spirit. When Andrew’s sister left to be with the Lord, he experienced the peace and comfort of God that surpass all understanding.

The Holy Spirit also helps Andrew break through many chains. Therefore, freely Andrew received the blessings from God, and now freely he gives back to God by being a planter of City Revival Church. He and his wife do not take any salary from church and all of their community works are voluntary. Andrew is also actively sharing the good news of Jesus Christ to many individuals and families who come from different walk of life. Day by day growing in Christ with fasting and prayers, Jesus has clearly revealed His calling for Andrew. Together with his wife, Tracy, and City Revival Church’s members, they are committed to help people discover how to be transformed in life through the abundance of grace, the gift of righteousness, and the power of the Holy Spirit.
